Hi, I'm Gaten.

[sinister music plays]

And we are the cast of Stranger Things.

We are about to be challenged in ways

we've never experienced.

We'll face kitchen chaos, ridiculous tests,

and maybe each other.

One by one we'll be eliminated.

Only one of us will make it out with the title

of Epicurious Culinary Champion!

[group cheers]

I'm scared.

[suspenseful music plays]

[Narrator] Egg.

You are an egg sheller.

Use any tool necessary to carefully peel the shell

off a hard boiled egg.

The smoother the better.

Wait, what's the rule?

[Narrator] Raise your hand when you're done.

Last to finish is eliminated.

Ready? [trumpets blare]

[numbers beep]

[bell rings]

[intense music] [tools clatter]

Ah [beep] what are you guys doing?

[Noah wheezes]

[Finn] It just started.

[Noah] What's the plan? How do you crack an egg?

All right guys, what's the plan?

[beep]

[Gaten] I don't like the method that I'm going with.

I'm really like stressed.

Oh, I broke the yolk.

The yolk has been seen, yolk has been seen.

We're gonna salvage this, it's gonna be fine!

[Sadie squeals] You're gonna be fine.

[Noah] So if I'm cracking the white off, that's okay?

Done. [bell rings]

[Noah] Done. No [beep] way.

[Finn] Oh wow.

[beep]

[squeals] Done. That's pretty bad.

Done.

[intense music]

[bell rings] Is everyone done?

I'm done.

[Millie laughing] Oh is everyone done?

Oh.

[Narrator] Finn is eliminated.

You know, when I joined this show,

I feel like we all had alliances

that I think were pretty strong

and I just feel like no one is loyal.

[Millie scoffs] Like I've just

given everything to this game and like, yeah, I don't know.

I'm gonna go back to my restaurant in Prague

and really start [beep] peeling eggs

and then we'll see if these guys are gonna be mad.

[all clapping]

[beep] you!

[Narrator] Upside down.

You are an inverted chef.

Put on the upside down goggles

and fix a mini sandwich with the tools given.

Bread, spread, veggie, and protein

makes the sandwich complete.

Last to finish is eliminated.

Ready? [trumpets blare]

Wait, no wait, hold on.

I need to just, let me just.

My heart is beating so fast.

[numbers beep]

[bell rings]

[Caleb] Oh [beep].

[Sadie] Oh my God.

[Caleb] Oh [beep], oh [beep]!

[laughs] This spread is- [laughs]

[Finn] Take a mile in my shoes.

[Noah] Wait, what is it?

Veggie, meat, spread, bread.

I'm done.

[Sadie] [bell rings] Where's the cheese?

[bells ring]

I've been done like a while ago.

[Sadie] Oh my God, there it is, there it is!

Got it, done.

Look at my sandwich, look!

Wait, who won?

Me, I won!

[Narrator] Sadie is eliminated.

I think I was.

You know what?

I felt really confident after the first round,

but the inverted goggles were really not for me.

And the sandwich was too tiny, so.

I got confused with the spread bottle too.

I didn't know where it was on the table, but.

Sadie, don't break my heart!

How's it feel Sadie?

I'm excited to just watch now.

It was kind of stressing me out a little bit.

[all clapping]

[Narrator] Cereal.

You are master milkers and cereal spillers.

Working in teams of two.

Obviously.

[Narrator] You must pour each

into your corresponding bowl.

I volunteer to be a milker.

I will be the milker

[Narrator] When time is up,

mix the elements together

to hit exactly 200 grams of material.

The team closest to desired weight

moves on to the final round.

The losing team is eliminated.

Ready? [trumpets blare]

I'm a little bit preoccupied with what's up,

what's going on here?

I don't, I don't.

So half,

so I'll do eight. All right, so pour it out.

[Gaten] I'm gonna do eight tablespoons.

Wait.

I'm gonna do eight tablespoons.

Wait, we're supposed to do both or just one?

[Noah] Like that's giving.

Like the glass itself is heavy, so.

Wait how much? That's a hundred for sure.

Really?

Yeah, it's a hundred, exactly a hundred grams.

No, you're lying.

I can look at things and just know what they are.

[Millie laughing]

Okay, Noah, Noah, let go.

Let go.

Oh, I don't know any.

[Gaten] Sorry, sorry.

Try that, do it over that.

So we've lost.

No, don't say that.

I think that's appropriate.

They might overdo it.

If they overdo it, then we're set.

It's better to go under.

My team is not talking to me.

They're gonna do too much.

No no no, Noah, Noah, stop stop stop.

Noah trust me on this.

Cereal doesn't weigh a thing.

I'm not even joking, I think you guys killed it.

One more, one more, one more.

We got it, all right, ah!

Oh [beep]

Oh, he's done it.

Milk on the [beep].

[all laughing]

Whatever happens, this has been so fun.

We love each other.

And I love you so much.

And we love this.

But do you know what this made me realize?

I really need to understand,

Me too. what 200 grams is.

Because I know nothing about grams.

In the future.

I have no sense of reference.

And that is also disturbing.

Okay, it's 158.5.

That's bull [beep].

159.5.

I just want you to know

that working with you has always been a pleasure.

Okay, we said the same speech before.

You got a speech, we get a speech.

Yes, that's right Gaten.

[Gaten] Thank you. Shut up, Noah.

I love you and I'm really proud of our ability

to maybe have been really good at measuring things by sight.

[all laughing]

113.

They [beep] beat us.

[Millie] We're against each other now.

Oh!

If I am to plummet in defeat,

I'd like to do it next to a friend.

Boo.

Tomato, tomato.

Gaten wins the lotto.

[all cheering]

Wait, I have a question.

[Millie] No, don't.

Can we do like a hunger games

where we both eat the berries?

[Millie] This feels like squid game.

[Gaten] Yeah, it's kind of scary.

[Narrator] Waffle.

You are a waffle whisperer.

Blindfolded, you must smell three different Eggo waffles.

Remove the blindfold to reveal your choices.

Correctly guess the order of waffles and win it all.

[trumpets blare] Ready?

[numbers beep]

Oh [beep].

What kind?

That literally smells like nothing.

Like it smells like a regular.

[Narrator] The first waffle is buttermilk.

The second waffle is Belgian.

Yep good.

[Narrator] The third waffle is blueberry.

Oh, know what that is.

No you don't, are you lying?

No, I do.

All right, cool, cool, cool, cool.

Yeah, we're dapping each other while blindfolded.

[all laughing]

Can I get a little more?

[all laughing]

I can't smell.

[laughs] It all smells the same. It's like I'm

feeding a goat or something.

Oh, okay.

Oh, there's home style and buttermilk.

Second one I'm thinking.

Ah, I don't know what's the [beep] difference

between buttermilk and home style.

That's what I'm wondering.

It's butter and there's not.

[Noah] Home style, then we're gonna do cinnamon,

and then we're gonna do blueberry.

Mine is home style, the Belgian, and the blueberry.

The first one smell like absolutely nothing

and that is the one at Eleven eats.

So I'm pretty sure that's that.

That smells like the one in Starbucks

and that I smelt a blueberry, so.

Seems like a pretty open and shut case to me.

I'm gonna do a switch.

No, you can't just because you're-

No because, you know why?

No, it can't because I'm confident

and he's trusting my confidence,

but he's not trusting himself.

I was thinking this originally.

I'm thinking home style, Belgian, and blueberry.

He's doing mine because he knows I'm [beep] good!

[Noah] Because I thought that at first.

Yes you are.

I know what you're doing I swear, I swear.

[Caleb] He's lying!

He is, he is!

Okay, let's just see the results.

He has to do this.

That is what you went with

and you have to stand by that.

Okay.

It was home style yeah.

No, no, no but wait, but you didn't.

They look the same.

It's home style, cinnamon, blueberry.

You did say home style,

you did say. Just put in the results!

Okay.

[Narrator] The correct order was buttermilk,

Belgian, blueberry.

Are you joking me?

[Narrator] Millie is the winner.

[all clapping]

How?

[Caleb] You got more right.

I got more right, okay okay.

Can I just have a little whiff?

Ah, that's it, that's it.

Oh, that's it.

[Noah] They smell the same.

No, they don't.

This smells more disgusting.

So I would like to state that- ow!

[laughing] Sandwich.

What?

Okay.

I would like to say that I originally went with Belgian.

Maybe we can re-watch the footage

because I did feel like I picked up the Belgian second.

So I think it would be a tie.

[all booing]

Lose with grace man.

Fine I claim the loss.

[beep] sorry, sorry okay I lost.

Thank you so much.

[Millie] Good job Noah.

[all clapping]

Hi.

I don't know if this is the right time,

but I have to catch a flight.

Wow you got a trophy!

[all clapping]

I picked the Belgian, I swear.

Ah, he's such a sore loser

but I take great pride in this.

Thank you very much, I did this for England.

Thank you very much everyone, I am so proud.

And honestly, I did not have much hope at the beginning

with Sadie and the egg.

I thought I'm screwed here.

But when it came to Eggos, Eleven knows them best.

[all cheering]
