Ingredients

1 pound plum tomatoes, seeded, very coarsely chopped
1/2 cup chopped fresh basil or 1 tablespoon dried
1/4 cup (packed) grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 teaspoon (scant) dried crushed red pepper

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine all ingredients in 1-quart casserole. Bake until tomatoes are soft, about 30 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cool to room temperature.
