Pomegranate Oatmeal

Ingredients

1/2 cup water
1/2 cup 100% pomegranate juice
Pinch salt
1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
1 to 2 teaspoons brown sugar, not packed

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Bring the water, juice, and salt to a rapid boil in a small saucepan over high heat. Add the oats and turn the heat to medium. Cook the oats 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the liquid is almost absorbed. Cover the pan and remove it from the heat. Allow it to sit 5 minutes, and then stir in the sugar. Serve immediately.
