Almond-Coconut Granola

Recipe information

  • Yield

    Makes about 5 cups

Ingredients

4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons water
3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
2/3 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Melt butter with honey in a small saucepan over low heat. Add brown sugar; stir until dissolved, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat, and stir in the water. Stir together oats, almonds, and coconut in a large bowl. Pour butter mixture over oat mixture; stir until combined. Evenly spread out granola on a large rimmed baking sheet. Bake, stirring frequently, until golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool completely on sheet on a wire rack. Granola can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature up to 2 weeks.
